IIE Scholarship Fundraiser

August 20 Saturday Night Game vs. Phillies

The IIE National Capital Chapter’s second Scholarship fundraiser of the 2011 Nationals baseball season is the 7 PM Saturday night August 20 Nationals vs. defending division champion Phildelphia Phillies at Nationals Park. Tickets are $25 in upper infield section 409 behind the third base dugout, which is approximately the price an individual would pay for a single seat purchase, including the service charge. The net proceeds resulting from the group discount will be donated to the IIE Marvin Mundel Memorial Scholarship, which annually provides scholarship funds to a worthy student in a college industrial engineering program. The first 15,000 fans entering the ballpark on August 20 will get free Ian Desmond bobbleheads; but plan to arrive early for a free bobblehead as a sellout crowd often accompanies Philadelphia for weekend games in DC. Contact Joe Scheibeler at (202)268-5089 for ticket reservations and further details. The deadline is July 30 or when our tickets sell out, if sooner.

July 30 Saturday Night Game vs. NY METS

The IIE National Capital Chapter has a few seats left for the scholarship fundraiser on Saturday night July 30 at 7 PM for the NATS vs. NY METS game. Tickets for $25 upper infield section 417 seats can be reserved by phone to Joe Scheibeler at 202-268-5089. The Nationals will give free Jason Werth bobbleheads to the first 15,000 fans entering the ballpark on July 30. Please contact Joe Scheibeler as soon as possible to allow time for mailing your check and receiving your ticket(s) by mail.

Although the picture below depicts an empty Nationals Park in daylight, the stands should be packed for the Saturday night, August 20 Phillies game.
